FAIRFIELD, CT — The Fairfield Town Plan and Zoning Commission is scheduled to hold a series of public hearings Tuesday, July 21, on proposed changes to the town's zoning regulations, including new requirements for traffic impact studies and updates affecting business and industrial districts.

Tuesday's meeting is set for 6:30 p.m. at the Fairfield Regional Fire School, 205 Richard White Way. The meeting will be held in a hybrid format, with in-person attendance and remote participation available through Zoom.

Five public hearings on proposed zoning regulation amendments are scheduled that could affect future development reviews throughout Fairfield.

Commission members are scheduled to consider adding a new section to the zoning regulations establishing requirements and standards for traffic impact studies, which are used to evaluate how proposed developments may affect nearby roads and intersections.
